Treasury Restoration or Treasury Opening: which rite is yours

補財庫 and 開財庫 are neighbours in the Altar Wish catalog and easy to confuse. They are not the same rite. Treasury Restoration is for the person whose money arrives and will not stay; Treasury Opening is the first-time rite for someone whose treasury has never been opened. Both are prepared in Taiwan in your name, and both end with a private completion record. This guide explains what each is for, what you send us, and how to choose.

Two rites, one idea of a treasury

In Taiwanese popular religion a person is said to carry a treasury: a store of fortune that can run low, be topped up, or sit closed because it was never opened. Offerings to the God of Wealth, and the paper money burned with them, are the traditional way of tending that store. The Ministry of the Interior’s religion network describes both; we cite it for background, not as proof that a rite changes a bank balance. What the house does is narrower than folklore: it prepares a named petition, presents it with the stated offerings, and tells you when it is done.

The two treasury rites divide that work. Treasury Restoration tops the store up: it is the rite people return to in a hard year, before something large, or simply to keep things steady. Treasury Opening is different in kind. The catalog calls it a first-time opening rite that comes before restoration, a rite in its own right rather than a charge folded into another treasury service. If no treasury has ever been opened for you, that is where the house begins. If one has, you move straight to restoration.

Treasury Restoration: when money will not stay

Before checkout the Treasury Restoration page asks three things: which level you want, what your situation is, and whether this is your first time. The situations are plain language, not diagnosis: money that never settles, a hard year, something big coming, or wanting to keep a steady run steady. The levels are Modest, Standard and Full, and the catalog is direct about them. They differ only in the quantity of offerings and the length of the rite. A modest offering is not a lesser one, and Full does not promise a better financial result than the other two. Choose by what you can comfortably give.

After payment the intake opens. It asks for your full name and your structured birth details: the date, whether it is a solar or lunar date, the hour if you know it, and the birthplace if you wish. Two fields follow, “What would you like read aloud?” and “What should be said?”, for the one matter you want held. You choose email or WhatsApp for the record and give the date of birth that will open the PDF. This rite is prepared in your own name only. The listed preparation time is seven days, from the moment your details are complete.

Treasury Opening: the first time

Treasury Opening has a single level and asks one question before checkout: have you done this before, or is this your first time. Its offering page is built around the next opportunity, the door you want open before it arrives. The house frames the opening rite as the moment you put your name and your intention formally behind the next move, and it keeps the scope tight: the opening is the whole rite, prepared with its own offering and petition, not a line item inside something else.

The intake is the same shape as a petition. Your full name, your structured birth details, what you would like read aloud, how you want the record delivered, and the date of birth that will be the PDF password. Like restoration, it is prepared in your own name rather than for another person. The published preparation time of seven days begins once those details are complete, and the rite ends with a private completion record. If you later arrange Treasury Restoration, you will be asked again whether you have done this before; by then the honest answer is yes.

How to choose

Start with the sentence you would say if a friend asked why you were doing this. If it begins with “I have never”, the answer is Treasury Opening. If it is about money that comes and goes, a hard stretch, or a steady run you want to protect, it is Treasury Restoration. Three neighbours cover sentences that sound similar: Business Prosperity asks for the name of the business and is prepared for it; the Regular Income Petition is for steady earnings rather than a treasury; Thanksgiving to the Wealth God is voluntary, for when nothing is owed.

You do not have to decide alone. The questions before payment are there to catch a mismatch before money changes hands, and the intake asks you to state the matter in your own words, so a rite is never prepared around a guess. If the matter is really two matters, treat them as two rites. That is the house rule across every Altar Wish petition, and it holds for treasuries too.

What comes back, and what it is not

Both rites end the same way: a private record confirming that the rite was carried out, sent the way you chose at intake. By email it arrives as an encrypted PDF reached through a secure link; the password is the date of birth you gave, written as eight digits in YYYYMMDD form, and the PDF itself is not sent through WhatsApp. Your details stay inside the secure order and intake flow.

Now the plain part. A treasury rite is a traditional practice offered in good faith for reflection and spiritual support. It does not promise a particular financial, personal or health outcome, and it is not medical, legal or financial advice. The refund rules are equally plain. If you never submit your intake, we remind you after thirty days and cancel with a full refund after ninety. Once work has begun or the rite has been performed, a change of mind does not by itself create a refund. If something was not supplied as described, contact us with your order number.

Common questions

Do I need Treasury Opening before Treasury Restoration?

If no treasury rite has ever been done for you, Treasury Opening is the first-time rite that comes before restoration. If you have done this before, choose Treasury Restoration directly.

Is the Full level of Treasury Restoration more effective than Modest?

No. The three levels differ only in the quantity of offerings and the length of the rite, and the house states plainly that Full does not promise a better financial outcome.

Can I arrange a treasury rite for my partner or a parent?

No. Both treasury rites are prepared in your own name and take no separate beneficiary. For a shop or company, use Business Prosperity, which is prepared for the named business.

How long does it take and what do I receive?

Seven days from the moment your required details are complete. The completion record then arrives by email as an encrypted PDF opened with your date of birth, or by WhatsApp.

What if I pay and then change my mind?

Orders with no intake are reminded at thirty days and refunded in full at ninety. Once work has begun or the rite has been performed, a change of mind does not by itself create a refund.

Does a treasury rite promise money?

No. These are traditional practices offered in good faith for reflection and spiritual support, not a prediction and not financial advice.
